SYNOPSYS
A video call and three men struggling to understand each other despite their attempt to use English. A gaze from above or from elsewhere, and a computer that seems to turn into the Tower of Babel. A journey into the decayed flesh of images, toward the knowledge of their creator, toward the discovery of something intimate about themselves in a place where bodies appear for what they are. HARIEL
BIOGRAPHY
HARIEL is the Italian collective for cinema in artificial intelligence. Founded by Pietro Lafiandra, Flavio Pizzorno, and Andrea Rossini, HARIEL explores the new aesthetics born from the use of closed-source and open-source generative models. Their humanist manifesto for cinema in artificial intelligence, published on 01.04.2025, represents the first attempt to formalize a culturological approach to algorithmic images.
