Oil is shown as a living organism that can predict a disaster caused by human interference. The film uses thoughts from philosopher Reza Negarestani, presenting oil as a metaphysical entity. The plot focuses on a small, forgotten detail on an oil platform that threatens an explosion, and an alternative outcome, highlighting the importance of small details for safety.
