ANDREJ HARING (*1999) is an Austrian writer and director. His passion for film was sparked early on, as both of his parents work in the film industry. Since 2020, he has been studying screenwriting at the Vienna Film Academy while simultaneously pursuing studies in theatre, film, and media studies. In 2024, he completed his bachelor’s degree in the latter and is continuing with a master’s program. His academic background complements his artistic work with solid theoretical knowledge. He has worked as an assistant director and script supervisor on numerous national and international projects. Most recently, he completed the short film Strizzi Gschichtln (2025), which explores themes of class and perspective.
