SYNOPSYS
In 2028, when the world has been dominated by data machine power, an Alpine mountain suffers a crisis of identity. Meanwhile, a Ticinese landowner fights in court to protect the mountain from total industrialization.

KATHY MITRANI
BIOGRAPHY
Kathy Mitrani is a Colombian filmmaker based in New York where she received her MFA from Columbia University. Kathy’s short film, Sombras Nada Más (2023) premiered at San Sebastian, was awarded JurySpecial Mention at Leeds, Best Cinematography at Bogoshorts and Best Short at Caminhos do Cinema Português. Her other short films, Buzzkill (2020) and Rozada (2019), screened in festivals such as AFI Fest, Chicago International Film Festival, Curta Cinema and Palm Springs ShortFest and were both selected as Vimeo Staff Picks. Kathy also taught screenwriting at Columbia University and worked as an Assistant Professor in their MFA program. She is currently developing her debut feature, La Danza de Las Sombras, supported by Ikusmira Berriak, TFL ScriptLab and Cine Qua Non Storylines Lab.
